About the Data Management Office:

In response to the demands of the digital era, Northern Borders University's management seeks to make full, long-term use of data as a vital national resource The university evaluated these assets and worked to adopt strategies and executive plans for data management, governance, and personal data protection, by leveraging data efficiently, the institution sought to align with the objectives outlined in the Kingdom's Vision 2030.In line with Royal Order No. (59766) issued on 11/20/1439 AH and Council of Ministers Resolution No. (292) issued on 04/27/1441 AH, the President of the University authorized the establishment of a dedicated Data Management Office under Transaction No. 552000978 on 09/07/1444 AH.

The primary responsibilities of this office include preparing and implementing data management, governance, and personal data protection policies, protecting personal data, monitoring compliance metrics in line with national standards, and fostering effective utilization of data in various formats to facilitate the university's strategic goals. Furthermore, the Data Management Office at Northern Border University endeavors to cultivate a data-centric culture across the institution and provide support for evidence-based decision-making through the delivery of reliable, high-quality data.
