  1.  Launching the “Testahel” program for university employees:

The “Testahel” platform is one of the electronic services initiated by the University vice Presidency. It offers facilities, preferences, and discounts in commercial dealings with commercial institutions, banks, schools, and markets. All these services are provided to its members of the faculty, staff, and students.

2. Launching the employee grievance platform:

The employee grievance platform is one of the electronic platforms through which Northern Border University employees can submit their grievances, whether in administrative, financial, job or leave matters. They submit it to the grievance committee. The employees can submit their grievances via the platform and receive responses.

3. Activating work controls outside official working hours

4. Activate the “Wasfati” service to improve the quality of health services and facilitate access to them:

On December 2020, the National Company for the Unified Purchase of Medicines, Devices, and Medical Supplies (Nupco) and the Northern Border University signed an agreement to provide “Wasfaty” service to facilitate the beneficiaries of its medical services obtaining free medicine at any time from community pharmacies and contribute to raising the efficiency of spending and the quality of provided services.

5. Establishing several specialized clinics in the university health centre.

6. Work on the promotions system through the (Masar) portal of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development:

Masar National Platform provides its electronic services to government agencies, employees, and individuals in the management and develops human resources according to the regulations for government human resources.

7. Launching the electronic self-service portal for university employees:

The President of Northern Border University, Prof. Dr Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Shehri, inaugurated in his office on Tuesday morning, 3/17/1442 AH- 11/3/2020 AD, the electronic services system on the self-service portal for university employees on the university's website on the Internet, in the presence of the Vice President Dr Ayed Al-Ruwaili, the Dean of Faculty and Personnel Affairs, Dr Mufdi Al-Sharari, and Dr Sultan Al-Khelaiwi, Supervisor of the Information Technology Department at the University. His Excellency was briefed on the advantages and electronic services provided by the self-service portal for university employees, which is the service of inquiring about job and personal data, personal documents, academic qualifications, and requests submitted by the employee, a letter of salary certificate and certificate without salary, and registering an experience certificate request.

The portal also allows the employee to register a leave request, add training courses, add and modify companions, and assign work outside working hours and other services. Furthermore, the Vice-Rector stated that the system was designed to promote all the services that the employee needs through the electronic transformation of all university transactions and to facilitate the employees to access the services they need.

Dr Sultan Al-Khelaiwi indicated that the system was fully programmed based on the competencies of the university, that is designed in a way that enables its users to deal with the user interface with flexibility, upgradeability and development, and works on various operating systems, and the registered employees at the university can access the system services through smart tablets. It also enjoys high confidentiality and security.

It is a system for managing operations, maintenance, general services, and everything related to university facilities and services.
